Chapter 4
Beth and Hank dropped Luis off at the Lopez-Fitzgerald
mansion. He waved goodbye and walked into the large entrance way.
“Luis, darling. How was your evening?” Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald
said walking into the foyer.
“It was fine mother. I’m headed to bed. Goodnight.” He
said kissing her on the cheek.
He climbed the tall staircase and plopped onto his bed
in his bedroom.
“Hey Big Bro! Whats going on?” Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald
bounded into his room.
“Nothing.” Luis said in a daze. He couldn’t get her beautiful
face out of his mind.
“You met a girl didn’t you?” Miguel inquired.
Luis smiled widely, “How did you know?”
“Trust me. I’ve never seen you this happy!”Miguel said
loudly. “She must be pretty special.”
“She’s like a soulful angel and she’s my angel.” Luis said
in awe.
“Then why are you here? If she’s this special why aren’t
you with her!”
Luis stared at Miguel for a few moments wondering the same
thing. He jumped and grabbed his keys of his dresser. Running out the house, he hopped into his Jag and headed
back to the Crane mansion.
Sheridan changed into a pair of long silk pajamas and slipped
into her silk robe.
She stepped out onto her balcony that stretched from her
bedroom.
Starring up into the sky, she shivered at how cool the
night had become. The stars were shining brightly in the sky creating small patterns that were scattered about.
They were so tiny that made them look like little diamonds that continuously sparkled.
His handsome face wouldn’t leave her mind. She could remember
every aspect of his facial features, his dark eyes, and his enticing smile.
She didn’t care that he was a Lopez-Fitzgerald. She only
cared about him.
Now she began to believe in love at first sight.
She jumped at the sound of something rustling in the bushes.
She peered down at the ground not being able to see anything at first.
Thats when she heard her name.
“Sheridan!” He called.
She could finally see his silhouette from the top of her
balcony.
“SHERIDAN!” he yelled again.
“Shh!! Or someone will here you!” Sheridan said as loudly
as she dared.
Luis looked up at the balcony and saw the beautiful creature
illuminated by the moon light.
He tightened his fingers around the white rose he held
behind his back.
“Why are you here?” Sheridan said smiling down upon him.
