Epilogue
*One Year Later*
“This is the best day of my life” Sheridan breathed to
Gwen as they sat and talked at the reception.
It was a year later, Sheridan and Luis and all of their
closest friends and family celebrated their matrimonial love.
The wedding was beautiful. Sheridan looked gorgeous and
Luis was as handsome as ever.
No one tried to stop it or mess it up. Everything went
smoothly.
It truly was a wonderful day.
“May I have this dance Mrs. Lopez-Fitzgerald?” Luis said
taking Sheridan’s hand.
“Yes, Mr. Lopez-Fitzgerald.”
Gwen sat at the head table and watched the two of them
sway to the music.
“It’s amazing that over a year ago I thought I would never
fall in love again or move on in fact.” Gwen thought to herself as she watched Ethan dance lovingly with Theresa.
“I know it’s for the best.”
Gwen looked over at Hank he was talking to Sam and his
wife Grace. Somehow Hank caught her glance he stared back at her and winked.
“That smile still makes me melt.” Gwen said to herself
waving back at him.
The glint of the gorgeous diamond ring on her left hand
caught her eye.
She stared at the ring and at all the beauty and love it
held.
“In a year, I will be Mrs. Hank Bennett.” Gwen said not
taking her eyes away from Hank.
“And I wouldn’t ask for anything else.”
