Chapter 18
“I don’t like this let me up!” Hank said standing up.
“No! Sit down!” Gwen said gently pushing him back down.
It was a week since Gwen had arrived in Washington. She
stayed through Hank’s entire recovery. Luis and Sheridan had already returned home a week ago. Gwen was wheeling
Hank in a wheelchair out of the hospital.
“Please Gwen I can walk fine. It’s just my arm in the sling.”
Hank said standing up again.
“Ok. Ok.” Gwen said smiling and grabbing his hand.
Hank wrapped his free arm around Gwen’s waist, “Lets go
home Beautiful.”
Gwen moved in with Hank for a few days just to take care
of him.
He was soon able to take his arm out of the sling and actually
move it around somewhat but the rest of the healing would take some time.
They were watching Breakfast
at Tiffany’s, Gwen’s favorite movie, when the phone
rang.
Gwen beat Hank to the phone, “Hello?”
“Gwen? It’s Sheridan. Can me and Luis drop by we have something
to talk to you and Hank about.”
“Sure. Is anything wrong?” Gwen said suspiciously.
“No......we’ll be there in a few!”
“All right Bye!” Gwen said but Sheridan had already hung
up.
“Who was that?” Hank said pulling Gwen back onto the couch.
“It was Sheridan. Her and Luis are on their way over here.
She said they have something to talk about with us.”
“Really? Well, it can’t be that important.” Hank said pulling
Gwen on top of him.
“Hey. Hey. Be careful! I don’t want to hurt you.” Gwen
said trying to ease up.
“Their is NO way you being on top of me could hurt me!”
Hank said mischievously.
“Awe I see.” Gwen smiled leaning down to kiss him.
“Wait what happens if Luis and Sheridan show up?”
“They can wait!”
Then they started messing around on the couch.
