Chapter 17
Gwen opened up her eyes and rubbed her stiff neck. She
couldn’t believe she actually fell asleep but she didn’t realize how exhausting the whole situation was to her.
As she started to raise her head up she felt a hand resting
on top of her head. She thought it was Sheridan trying to comfort her some more until she sat all the way back
up.
She looked straight into Hank’s beautiful eyes as he stared
at her with so much love. He took his hand and placed it on her face.
“I bet you’re sick of having to chase me around!” Hank
joked.
“Oh my God!!” said Gwen as she jumped on Hank and hugged
him with so much might.
“Ow!” Hank said in pain.
“Oh goodness I’m so sorry!” said Gwen pulling away from
him but Hank just shook his head and pulled her onto the hospital bed with him.
She laid her head on his chest and he clutched her with
all that he had.
“Gwen, I love you so much. How did you find me?” Hank said
turning her face to his.
“Luis told me and brought me and Sheridan to Washington.
Hank you do realize that no matter what happens that I’m always going to be by your side.”
“I just wanted to keep you out of danger......”
“No..Promise me no more promises to keep me out of what
you do! Were in this together now!”
“All right I promise.”
Gwen kissed him on the forehead and started to get off
the bed.
“Where do you think you’re going?” asked Hank as he pulled
her back into his arms.
“To tell Sheridan and Luis that you’re going to be ok!”
“They can wait! Right now all I want is you!” Hank said
hugging her tightly.
Gwen turned to face Hank and she placed her hands on his
face.
“I thought I would never love again.......but now I found
you and I’m not going to lose you.” said Gwen.
“You won’t lose me! You’re stuck with me!” laughed Hank.
Gwen smiled and leaned in to kiss him on the lips.
Which lead to more and more kisses.......
