Chapter 13
“Gwen get off the plane!!” Hank said rising up from his
seat than sitting back down.
“No Hank! I want you to just listen!”
“Their is nothing to talk about Gwen just go.” Hank said.
“Yes Ms. you must leave!” said the pilot.
“No!! Just give me two minutes!” Gwen said shaking out
of the man’s grasp.
“Gwen.......”
“Shut up! Listen to me. Theirs NOTHING going on between
me and Ethan it’s over and we both know that! Hank I’ve been so distant lately because I’ve been scared and it
took me losing you to realize that I need you in my life!”
“You’re my Handsome.........” Gwen said smiling and blushing
at all the people on the plane staring at her.
“Gwen...”
“NO! I’m not done! I.......I.......I think.......No.......I
know that I’ve fallen in love with you! Ok? I Love you Hank Bennett and nothing is going to change that! I was
meant to be with you! Please say you’ll love me back. I just want here you say something. PLEASE say something.”
Gwen pleaded.
Hank just stood there staring at her. He was so struck
by her words that he didn’t know what to say.
“Ok.......ok. I understand.” Gwen turned to walk off the
plane.
Hank jumped up he grabbed her arm and yanked her around
so that she was facing him.
He picked her and kissed her with so much passion that
everyone on the plane stood up and clapped their hands and whooped and cheered.
“I love you Gwen.” Hank said holding her in his arms. “I’m
never going to lose you now.”
“So, will you get off this plane with me and forget about
Washington?” Gwen said.
“I’ll get off the plane but I’ll have to catch the next
flight!” Hank said grabbing his bags.
“What?” Gwen said.
“Come on lets get off this plane before we cause even more
of a scene.” Hank said wrapping his arms around her as they walked off the plane. All the people continued to clap.
So did Luis and Sheridan as Gwen and Hank walked out of
the terminal.
“So you’re staying buddy?” Luis said patting Hank on the
back.
“I can’t I have to go to Washington I’m already stuck to
the case. I’ll just have to catch the 6 o’clock flight.” Hank said disappointedly.
“But I going to spend my last few hours with the woman
I’ve fallen head over heals for!” Hank said as he picked up Gwen in his arms.
“We’ll meet you later Gwen.” Sheridan said as her and Luis
walked off leaving them to be alone.
“Flight 633 Gate B9 to Washington will be boarding.” the
voice sounded over the loud speaker.
Gwen was curled in Hanks lap and she didn’t want to move.
“God I don’t want to leave you!” Hank said holding her
tighter.
“Me neither! But you have to go.” Gwen said getting up
as the people started to board the plane.
They wrapped their arms around each other and Gwen leaned
her forehead on his.
“I’ll send you a rose for every day I’m gone until I get
back Beautiful.” Hank said kissing her on the forehead.
“Promise?” Gwen said already knowing the answer.
“Promise.” Hank said letting go of her but still clutching
her hand as he looked toward the terminal.
“You better go.” Gwen said. She walked over to him and
kissed one more time.
“I Love you Beautiful!” Hank said turning back to look
at her from the terminal.
“I Love you Handsome.”
She watched the plane take off with tears in her eyes.
Not tears of sadness though but with tears of hope.
