Chapter 6
“I can’t do this not like this.” Gwen pushed away. She
took a few steps back.
“I’m so sorry. Did I do something wrong?” Hank asked worriedly.
“No....no I want you so bad Hank but I can’t do it like
this not in some office I want it to be......”
“Perfect.” Hank finished.
“Yea I guess I do.”
“Well” Hank said standing up, “Here’s the deal, show up
at my house at 8 o’clock this evening dressed up.”
“Why?” Gwen asked intrigued.
“Just show up!”
“Finally finished!” Hank said out loud as he looked around
the house. He had to compliment himself for his wonderful work.
That was when the doorbell rang......
Hank dressed in his very crisp tux walked up to do the
door and opened it to a very elegant looking Gwen Hotchkiss. She was wearing a long sleek black dress that came
up around her neck with a very low cut back.
She gasped as she walked into the dimly lit house. Their
were candles big and small lit all over the place. Rose petals made a trail all the way to the dining room table
which was covered in pink roses. The champagne Gwen had brought to Hank that day was sitting in the middle of all
the roses.
“Champagne?” Hank said pouring into two long flutes.
“Yes.” she said toasting Hank before taking a long sip.
“Hank you didn’t have to do all of this for me.”
“Oh but I’m not finished yet!! I have something for you!”
Hank said running to the kitchen.
While Hank was away, Gwen looked around the dining room
staring at the table covered with roses. She smiled and set down her purse on the floor and slipped out of her
heels. She slid on top of the table.
Hank rushed back into the room and stared at Gwen sitting
on the table motioning him to come over to her.
Music filled the house as he walked closer to her.

“My favorite song!” Gwen said pulling Hank close to her.

As the song continued to play they became engulfed in a
never ending kiss as Hank laid down gently on top of Gwen as they fell back slowly.
Making love on a bed of roses.
