Part 3
“Theresa....” he whispered as he walked passed her into
the small apartment.
Theresa just memorized his appearance and how much she
missed him. It took so much of her strength not to just walk over to him and wrap her arms around him and hold
him, but the rejection he would give her would be too much for her to bare.
Ethan look around the small room and then he walked over
to the window and stared out it for a while. He was struggling with what exactly he wanted to say.
“Ethan, why are you here?” Theresa said.
“Shhh.....don’t say anything.” he whispered still staring
out the window.
He finally turned and faced her.
“Theresa, I.....well......you see.......I....” Ethan stumbled
with his words.
“Ethan....”
“No please let me do this!”
Theresa nodded her head understandingly.
“I......I need you. You know how long it has taken me to
find you! Theresa I know it wasn’t you who sent the letter to the tabloid. I know you didn’t mean to hurt me. We
can get passed this T I just can’t live without you.”
Tears began to brim in Theresa’s eyes as she moved to speak.
“No, don’t say anything. Let me finish. I love you! I don’t
ever want us to be apart again. I was a fool. You are the only thing that will keep me alive. Please come back
with me. I just want to take care of you. Please Resa......please...”
“Shut up Ethan!!” Theresa yelled.
He stopped in complete shock.
“You had me a long time ago. All you had to do was show
up at my door and you did.”
She said running over to him.
He picked her up and held her just smelling her hair and
drinking in her eyes and smile. He kissed all of her tears away. She tangled her fingers in his hair and just held
him.
They continued to just hold each other in silence. No words
needed to be said.
Fate smiled down upon these two lovers. Giving them another
chance at destiny.
