My Advice: I'm pleading the fifth on the grounds
what I say might incriminate me
Rating: It gets a Lemon Award!!!
I am such an idiot. There mere fact I plunked down a well-earned
$3.79 to rent this movie confirms that someone needs to scheduled a well deserved intervention for me. Perhaps
you can hold a telethon? Either or, as long as I get the help I so desperately need.
Let's take a moment to meet Rachel (Bergl). Rachel is a teenager
who is overwhelmed with teen angst. She has a mother (Smith-Cameron) confined to a mental ward, she's an outcast
at her highschool for being a tattooed freak, her best friend has just committed suicide and the football team,
who's made a game of bedding the entire female student body, have added her to their "to-do" list. Oh
yeah, and she can move things with her mind. Imagine never having to get up for the remote again. How wonderful!
This was a hideously bad movie. The portrayal of today's youth
was disheartening and unbelievable. You simply cannot feel any empathy for any one in this film because the caricatures
they portray have no resemblance to humanity. They are all callous, unfeeling, flat and one dimensional. You just
don't give a rat's ass about a single person in this flick and that alone is the kiss of death. Wait, wait, wait.
That's not true. You do feel a little sorry that they have been trapped in such a moronic sequel. I oozed lots
of pity on that note.
My advice, that garage of yours is looking pretty cluttered.
Go grab yourself a broom and just forget about this.
